Petition Letter: My name is Ruyu Yan, a senior student majoring in Health Studies an minoring in Economics. Currently, I am finishing the last semester of my senior year and applying for graduation in 2022 Spring.
I was informed that I still needed 3 credits in electives. But the deadline for adding a course has passed. I'm sorry for the trouble I caused. Last month, due to my personal diet imbalance, I suffered from binge eating in stages, which made my physical and mental health not so good. I've been in a state of moderate anxiety, which makes it easy for me to make mistakes when I'm in a negative state of mental health.
I am so sorry about my mistake. Since I have applied for graduate school, I have to graduate before starting my master degree. Therefore, this semester will be my last chance to graduate and ensure that I can attend my master study on time. So I'm sorry to bother you. I hope I can be enrolled in STAT362 to finish 3 credits in electives.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am registered in Health Studies and Economics as my major and minor respectively. I have reviewed my Academic Advisement Report in SOLUS, and understand I still need 3 credits in electives.
I have asked the degree coordinator of Faculty of Arts and Science, she gave me academic suggestions. I think enrolling in STAT 362 is an important step for my graduation, as well as for my master degree. I know this course is about R, so it is really useful for my master's study.
In 2022 Winter, I am only taking 2 courses, so it will be okay for my health status. I will follow professor's courseware on Onq to obtain the missed knowledge as soon as possible, and keep up with the current progress. I will make up for the missing knowledge including homework within a week. And, I will make a payment immediately after the tuition is added to my account. I hope you can give me this chance, it is really necessary for me to graduate.
