Petition Letter: Hello,
I am requesting an appeal to add a course after the deadline. I realized that I have mistakenly added a course I took in the fall term. I have no reason to take this course again and dropped it prematurely without knowing the deadline to add courses. I am also currently on academic probation. As per the terms of my academic probation I am required to have a full course schedule. I have tried to book appointments with academic advising but meetings are fully booked. I have contacted the Arts and Science Department and they informed me that I need to submit an academic appeal.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: If my appeal should be granted, I will continue to work hard in the hopes to get into an academic plan. I want to major in politics and this require a 1.9 GPA to be considered for the plan. I am committed to doing my best in my courses to achieve my goals. Through my winter break I have been talking with other students, family, and academic advisors about my academic plan.
