To Whom This May Concern,
I, Monica Young, am requesting to appeal my IN-grade in PSYC 241, which I took in the
fall term, from defaulting to a failing grade on April 30th, 2022. IN grades default to an F if the
appeal is not granted by the grade deadline. My final exam for PSYC 241 has been deferred to
the Winter deferred exam period of May 12-15, 2022.
As a result of unforeseen circumstances and becoming ill, I was granted academic considerations
with the faculty and an updated LOA with QSAS after medical documentation was sent directly to them, which is why I was granted a deferral to write my final exam. Please see attached documents. If you have any further questions, please reach out to me.
