Appeal Letter
Appeal Letter: To the Board and whoever this may concern,
I apologize for taking this long to submit this letter but I wanted to make sure I had strong enough documentation to strengthen my reasoning. I am appealing for reconsideration of the decision made on my appeal because the main reason for denial was that I did not provide documentation that can confirm that my academic ability in these classes continued to be impacted by your extenuating circumstances despite being accommodated through QSAS. At the time of my original appeal and I am sure I stated this in the first letter, I was told that my counsellor at the time had left Queens and so I was unable to receive a letter of proof that my academics were greatly affected by my extenuating circumstances even after I received accommodations. After the decision was made I reached out to QSAS again and pleaded to be provided with documentation from anyone that was aware of this extenuating circumstances and could prove this was the case and luckily I got in contact with one of the first counsellors I connected with at QSAS. I am hoping this provides more valid support on my original case and helps to review the decision made on my appeal.
