Petition Letter
Petition Letter: What I am appealing:
I am appealing for the removal of all the grades on my transcript for the fall 2020 ?? winter 2021 terms.
The extenuating circumstances surrounding my appeal:
- I have been recovering from a concussion I acquired in October 2018.
- Since October 2018 I have not returned to school. Instead, I have been recovering continuously at home in London, Ontario with my parents from October 2018 to the present day.
- At the time of these courses, I was doing very poorly physically, and I was not able to manage any of my online accounts (Solus, email, and OnQ). For these reasons, I was not aware that I had somehow been enrolled in these courses during the fall 2020 ?? winter 2021 terms. I do not know how I got enrolled in these courses as I had not personally enrolled myself in any of these courses for these 2020-2021 terms.
- For these same reasons (concussion) I did not attend any classes, view any material, submit any assignments, or write any examinations.
- These grades are simply a result of my complete lack of attendance and involvement in the courses in all ways due to my physical health as well as me being unaware of my enrollment. Therefore, they do not reflect my performance and capabilities in school in any way and should be removed from my transcript.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My academic plan:
- continue with therapy for my concussion.
- Work on skills that are necessary for succeeding at school (reading, writing, screen time.)
- When returning to school begin with one course and in later years/terms systematically increase courses as my tolerance for the workload improves/increases.
- continue to step out of my physical comfort zone to increase my tolerance and remain in contact with my OT when in need of further assistance on how to do that.
- Continue to improve my pacing and planning skills for when I begin a course so that I am successful in managing the workload and pacing myself through the studying and assignments for the most success in managing my symptoms.
