Petition Letter: My name is YIRONG SHI. The student ID is 20117264. This is my last year at Queen's University. However, I am facing the failure of the ASTR101 final, which will cause a lack of 3 units to graduate. Because the time I get my Astr101 grade was later than the last day to add a course, the unanticipated result makes me stay in an embarrassing situation now.
I was interested in astronomy, so I insisted on retaking it last semester. At the ordinary time, I carefully finish the homework assigned by the teacher; usually, the results are pretty good. I also feel pretty good about the exam, but there is a big gap between my exam result and the expected result. The second part of my exam is short- answer, which might be under-evaluated. I want to apply for re-marking on the short answer part of my Astr 101 final.
