Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To whom this may concern,

My name is Lexie Reiken and I am a second year student studying here at Queen??s University. I am in the Coned and Life Science program. I am writing you to gain approval to complete a semester studying abroad in Barcelona at University of Autonoma de Barcelona. I am hoping to complete this semester abroad during the winter semester of the 2022-2023 school year. I think that this would be a once in a life-time experience for me to experience learning in a new environment, while getting to see new places around the world. This would help to enrich my degree and help me gain new experiences. I am on track to gaining my degree and have my studies organized. I have planned out my first semester before I go on exchange and will be sure to complete all required courses for my major before I graduate. In addition to this, I have looked into courses at the University of Autonoma de Barcelona and they will be able to transfer over to Queen??s credits. I am hoping to take: politics of the developing world, intercultural communication, The great art collections and Spanish contemporary art. My next step in this process is to apply for an ILOP in order with the hope to then apply for the University of Autonoma de Barcelona.

Thank you in advance for your time

Lexie Reiken
