Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear Faculty of Arts and Science,

I always put in an extra effort trying to do well on this course, however, due to combined reasons, I am unable to complete the full requirements of this course and I am requesting an AG grade. Due to an accident in Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort, I have lost one of my front teeth and broke my toe. Causing intense pain in my mouth and feet, accompanied by disfigurement. I have consulted doctors, who advised me to get dental implants and treatment for my toe. These treatments would require 4-6 months to complete which requires constant appointments with dentists and health professionals. Furthermore, I originally planned to wait until May to return to my home country for reunions, but I recently received the diagnosis from my local hospital that my grandmother is diagnosed with liver cancer. She is getting major surgery in the upcoming months and requires special attention. Her partner deceased a couple of years ago and full responsibility of taking care of her was left to my mother. However, my mother is a Covid Doctor, she is divorced and she has been assigned duties by the Chinese government which requires her to work in an isolated environment for months in the upcoming months. Leaving my grandmother and my puppy at home unattended if I do not return. Leaving me little time to study the remaining session of this course.

All of these unfortunate events are giving me intense mental pressures and physical pain, I am requesting an AG grade for this course. I hope you can understand my circumstance, and thank you for your time and consideration.

I will attach supporting documents.
