Petition Letter: Hello,
My name is Deena Fremont and I am a fourth year kinesiology student. This semester, I took ENIN 240 as an elective. On Wednesday March 2nd, I received a less than ideal grade on a major ENIN 240 assignment that I worked hard on for. I reached out to both my TA for additional feedback, and the masters program I have applied to asking if making this course a PIC would impact my application. The TA responded days later, to which he forwarded my questions and justifications on my assignment mark to my professor. After more repeated follow up emails, my professor has still not said anything to me. My graduate program's admission office confirmed only after the PIC deadline that choosing to do a PIC would not impact my application. As graduate programs are extremely competitive, I do not want this elective impacting my cGPA as they only take the last 60 credits - especially since I have not been able to get any help/feedback after repeated attempts. I can provide email receipts if needed to support my case.
Thank you for your consideration,
Deena Fremont
