Petition Letter: Extenuating circumstances beyond my control have caused me, Hannah Banks, to fail ASTR 101. The case that impacted my ability was receiving COVID-19 at the beginning of December, which caused long-lasting impacts throughout December and into January. Being sick severally impacted my ability to complete work to the best of my ability, so on January 13th and the weeks leading up when I needed to study, I was unable to. This caused me to fail my exam, so I failed the course entirely. After receiving my mark, I had contacted my physician Dr. Quidway to receive a letter that proved I was sick and unable to do any school work during this time.
