Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Early in the fall term of 2021 I was met with severe depression and anxiety, to the point where i was not getting out of bed. I have been struggling with depression since, however the worst was at the time i should have been going to classes, or in this case dropping them. My state of mind made it very difficult for me to drop my courses before the deadline, as i was to the point where no work was being done, i was not logging on for class and i could barley take care of myself. I can assure that had i of been in the mental state to drop my courses in time i would have, unfortunately this was not the case. I have since been receiving help from student wellness to get myself back on track, which led me to this appeal today.
