a. The Request:
Hi Associate Dean, I am appealing to the Faculty of Art and Science's decision that I am appealing to drop these courses CISC 251 and CISC 203 and COGS 100 and CISC 124 so some of them in the Fall term and others in the Summer term and all 2021 courses, and I am appealing to IN incomplete grade which is these courses CISC 221 and GEOL 106 on Fall term, and I am appealing to review of instructors?? decision of a term work which is CISC 203 on Fall term.

b. Explanation of Extenuating Circumstances:
The extenuating circumstances happen when I was searching for a room for rent in Kingston for 2 months and I found a room for rent at this house address 817 817 Aylmer Crescent St, Kingston, On, K7M6N2 on Kijiji on the date 22/08/2021 then on the next day 23/08/2021 I chat with Phoenix which the landlord of the house, so then I told her that I need one room for 2 months after negotiate, on the date 24/08/2021 I told her ok I accept to take the room then she till me first you should pay 1300 upfront for 2 months then I paid the 1300 by e-transfer on the date 24/08/2021, then the lease was from 1/09/2021 to 31/10/2021, then I came later on 10/09/2021 time 3:30 pm from Toronto to Kingston to move-in to my room so I arrive 7:45 pm Kingston then Phoenix the landlord was not in the home she was travelled so she put an associate girl to help me to move-in but the girl was waiting for me until 6:00 pm so I late I came after 6:00 pm I know that it's my fault but it's happen sometimes because traffic, then the girl left the house so I told her Phoenix after negotiate about what I should do because nobody on the house, so then I told her I will come tomorrow on date:11/09/2021 time 7:22 am she tell me that I don't want to continue on our arrangement so she annulment the lease then she told me I will be refunding your payment as soon as I am able to so then she refund for me 325 date 11/09/2021 time 5:00 pm then she told me I will sent more at end of September 31/2021 then I wait for her 6 months and half didn't refund the money back which I need from her 975 then after the end of September she didn't respond to me until today and I am trying with her but until now no respond. So how it effect the circumstances on me is that it was very hard and stressful to manage because it was a large amount of work specifically in the first two months of September and October I was had many assignments and quizzes and mid-terms and two final exams for CISC 124 30 SEP 2021 and COGS 100 25 SEP 2021 on September and I was searching for a room to live there it??s was hard, I know that you have housing manager but I knower later on the end of the term.


Why didn??t you drop the courses earlier?
Because I was don??t know that my mark will be like that, I thought that maybe if I continue, I will improve my mark, but it was hard because is a large amount of work specifically in the first two months of September and October it was very hard to manage because is a large amount of work specifically in the first two months of September and October I was had many assignments and quizzes and mid-term and two final exams.


Why can??t you finish the course?
Because I was having covid on JAN 18 so I didn??t complete the CISC 221 final exam so I tell the professor that I want to take the final exam, later on, same month JAN but he tells me that no you can??t I will give just the term work so that why I am appealing IN incomplete so I can take the final exam, For GEOL 106 the professor didn??t give me the final exam she tells me later on JAN I will let you write the final exam and I wait for her but I get no response, so I didn??t complete the course so I appealing IN incomplete.

When can you finish the course?
I am planning on May 2022, so I can first finish this term in Winter 2022 then in May write the any NI incomplete courses final exams that were on Fall term 2021.

?? Course: CISC 221, Term: Fall 2021, Need: NI option 1: incomplete grade to take the final exam, if option 1 can??t happen so option 2: CR credit standing.

?? Course: GEOL 106, Term: Fall 2021, Need: option 1: IN complete grade to take the final exam, if option 1 can??t happen so option 2: a review of instructors' decisions on the grading of final examination and/or term work

c. Future plan:
The plan is to be a focus on my study and continues what I like to study and follow my passion to achieve academic success on my degree until I work on my dream and more success in my life. And I plan to change my program to computing which l like more to study so I need to raise my GPA to enter the program which needs 2.7 GPA, and I am trying my best to raise my GPA. And I am now retaking the courses CISC 204 and CISC 124 for this Winter 2022 term.
