Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Good day,

This is Ziang Chen applying for appeal in my 4th year at Queen's as a chemistry major student. I was experiencing difficulties learning the subject starting in my second year and have encountered quite a bit of pressure when the pandemic strikes. I was hoping in-person classes would change that scenario but it just made me see the truth: I am not a science student, at least I don't want to be one. I didn't finish my 311 exams on time that's why it is shown incomplete in my transcript. And even if I dropped other courses and focus on 397 only this semester, through many factors I don't think it will end well once the course is finished.

Therefore after forcing myself to go through the year, I talked to my therapist and found myself trapped in courses I don't want all along. I decided to change my major before it was too late and intend to make better grades out of it to keep myself in Concurrent Education program. To do that I need help from the appeal office to drop 311 and 397 out of my transcript for better GPAs, please.
