Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing to drop two winter courses: Classics 103, Biology 103 which were both dropped after the academic deadline. I took the fall semester off due to severe mental health complications. I was an in-patient multiple times for those said issues, and i've decided I was not suited to be in a university setting resulting in my leave. When i came back for the winter semester, I really believed I was better but it's evident I was not. The same problems plagued me and my ability to perform as a student. I have been seeing a therapist at La Salle for over a year. I believe she will be happy to provide documentation to support this.

My suicidal ideations have made it very difficult to be the student I know I can be. It was all i could think about. I could no concentrate on any of the course material.
I am in the process of searching for other resources in my hometown to continue the treatment I desperately need.
