Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am hoping to complete the first semester of my fourth year abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I am entering my fourth year majoring in life sciences. I only need one more option course and the rest electives. I think this would allow me to gain great personable skills and learn about different cultures around the world without worrying about core courses at Queen's.

The classes would take place at the University of Dubrovnik which is situated on the coast of Croatia and is run by API Abroad. I am planning to take 2-3 courses this summer as well in order to lighten up the course load while abroad and to limit transfer credits. Courses offered at the school include Basics of management, research and writing, pathology, pain management, and more. The program is called Semester in Business, Communications, and STEM Studies at the University of Dubrovnik which is right up my alley as I am in life sciences as well as completed the Smith Certificate in Business.
