Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

I have been sick with an infection with a severe sore throat and headaches for over a week and even thought I studied very hard, it was effective. My exam was on April 14, and the night of April 13 I was only been able to sleep for 2 hours and had to go to the emergency right after writing my exam (I have a letter from the hospital which shows the prescription for my medication with a date included) . My sickness hindered the ability to write my exam in the correct mindset. I have made a great effort during the school year and my marks were higher than the class average. I have enjoyed the subject very much and made a great effort to study under duress, I would like to request for my exam to be reviewed as I know that I did well in the exam. I have studied though the year and even tough I was very sick, I was well versed in the subject.

I would deeply appreciate if my exam was re evaluated.
