Petition Letter: Hi Appeal Request Queen's,

I am looking for a review of my final term paper in CRSS 456 as I was deducted 25% for being less than a day late (21 hours to be exact). I am a student with accommodations and throughout the term when requesting 1-week extensions with the professor through email the professor ignored my emails and even after expressing that I had multiple deadlines due the same day within the week my 1-week extensions on assignments was not granted and no late penalty was communicated to me by the professor. As well, when I looked on OnQ the late penalty was no where to be found in the syllabus or course content making me assume that the late penalty of 25% was not found thus I assumed the late penalty was the ordinary 5% per day not 25% for less than 1 day late. As well, when expressing that I was finished the term paper 5 hours before the deadline via email but my references were just corrupted and attaching the file this email was completely ignored by the professor, and no late penalty of 25% was communicated by the professor. This caused my final term paper to be marked out of 75 with a grade of 64 being given instead of being marked out of 100 which decreased my grade in CRSS 456 significantly to a B+, thus I am looking for a review of the final term paper mark and late penalty provided.
