Petition Letter: Respected Queens Arts and Sciences,
I am requesting a CR for the course CANC 380 because of the low grade I have achieved due to extenuating circumstances I have faced this semester. I tried to drop the course after the deadline but unfortunately I applied for the appeal very late and I decided to withdraw it and go ahead with the final exam anyway. I have faced some personal issues this semester which has left me homeless and I have been staying on someones couch for a while. My mental health has made it difficult for me to study and even though I tried very hard unfortunately I earned a very low grade for CANC 380.
I humbly request Queens to accept my appeal and grant me a CR for this subject as it would bring my total gpa significantly low. I am working on my living situation and would hopefully be able to find something I could afford before the next semester begins.
