Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Closer to the KNPE 255 midterm, which takes up 25% of the evaluation, I was experiencing severe covid symptoms. Though I did not test positive on a rapid antigen test. I did not attend the in person midterm as school told us not to if experiencing symptoms. I emailed the prof and he told me to get an academice consideration, which I could not get because it needed a positive result to get one for midterms. The prof did not reply to my following emails about resolutions, instead I just got 0 for the 25%midterm. Therefore, I'm appealing to have a CR grade for this course.

An important family member of mine in China had a serious illness due to an unexpected incident prior to Anat 316 finals. I had to fly home and therefore missed the chance to take the in person final exam in the exam periods or in the following month. Therefore I wish to drop this course and retake it next year.
