Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I have contacted my course instructors, who were very helpful. I asked them if I could have more time and they explained the situation at hand. I have two courses remaining called STAT 263 and ECON 111. I particularly needed help in STAT263 which my instructor helped me with fairly well. However, I realised that I still had a lot of preparation to go in my two remaining courses.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I would like to the chance to retake my final examinations for these two courses over the summer term. The two courses are called STAT 263 and ECON 111.

I feel that I did not have adequate preparation for the final examinations due to family or personal problems. For example, I was aware that my mother was getting steadily unwell.
I am responsible for helping her and nursing her even when I may have other duties. I have also been doing well in other courses, and my mid-terms were acceptable. So, I feel that I should be up to par in these two courses.
