Petition Letter: As a first year kinesiology student, and varsity athlete, I am fully aware of the importance of time management and balance throughout my academic career. However, in this situation I unfortunately mixed up the final day for course modifications as I thought it was the 20th of September, and dropped my CHEM 112 course without being able to add in another one. I take responsibility for the misunderstanding that led me to require an appeal and the addition of a course following the add/drop deadline, though I have taken steps such as speaking with an Academic Advisor and doing online research into how I can come up with a solution to reach my required credits.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: As stated above, I am very confident in my time management skills for completing academic work on time and to the best of my ability. I plan to catch up on what I have missed in the Anatomy course within the first few days, extending my 9-5 school day that I have laid out for myself, ensuring I have ample time to stay on top of my work and achieve a high quality in the course. I will continue to work hard even when I am caught up, and keep up with the following workload as I currently am in all my other courses. I hope that I am able to be put into this course as I know I will be able to catch up and achieve academic success.
