Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Due to limited internet access during the course enrollment period, I was put on the waitlist for Biol 212, a course I need to graduate with a minor in Biol. A slot has just opened up on September 20th in section 006 for the laboratory component of the course, but it is now past the course add deadline. I hope to be added to the course if at all possible, given that Fall 22 is my final semester in my degree plan- now entering my 5th year. Due to scheduling conflicts with the Geol courses in my major, as well as the pandemic, I was unable to take Biol 212 before this year. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to finally take this course.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I will work with instructors to make up the few labs that I have missed, however, I have experience with the first 5 labs in this class, which should make the task of catching up significantly easier. I will also work with instructors to complete the various non-lab deliverables, such as quizzes, that I have missed. I already have contacted the course coordinator as well as the Biol undergraduate chair to work together to smoothly integrate into the workflow. All work should be manageable as I only have four total courses this semester, and I have taken as many as 6 in prior years.
