Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I have been consulting with different academic guidance counselors regarding my next steps. I have been in touch with my profs but at this, but at the start of this month, I realized that it is becoming hard for me to catch up due to my health conditions. I tested positive for covid in the mid of the term and missed a couple of quizzes, I was given an opportunity to retake the quiz the following week, but it was not possible for me to take it in person because quizzes in this term were in person. Again, earlier this month, again I was sick, got in touch with Daralyn Auld, and she guided me on the next steps to take. During this period, due to my health condition, I have not been able to focus properly on my studies, it was advised to reduce my screen time, and due to fatigue and fever, it was kind of hard for me to actually study in that period. Due to this, I had missed my part-time internship opportunity too, as in October I took a sick leave and from that point, I have not be able to get back on track.
My concern at his point is that I want to take these courses next semester. What is the best thing to do here?
