Petition Letter: Dear student servicer,

Hi, my name is Claire Geng, my student ID is 20336897.

I'm a first year student at queensu and I'm failing two of my classes because I diagnosed with covid during October. I've been having random bouts of extreme fatigue and my heartrate was rapid, I experienced this on and off these past 2 month, I got disoriented and dizzy, saw stars, and sometimes fainted and had to sit on the ground. I think its post-viral inflammation of multiple organ systems, and asked the doctor they said there isn't much they can do but rest and hydrate. I'm completely bed-ridden for the pastr two month unfortunately and still slightly dizzy until now.
I couldn't concentrate on my studies eventhough i already try my best to focus, because of the health issue Sometimes I had hypoglycemia and I didn't have the energy to go out and I missed one exams as well. I really want to studying hard in Queens, I have a very clear career plan, but it was interrupted by health issues. I also want to re-take these two courses in my sophomore year. I wanted to enter the art history program since grade 10, but unfortunately my grades this year did not meet the requirment to enter the major. I feel a lot of pressure recently, and I am worried that I will be expelled next year because of my poor gpa this semaster.
