Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: My student number is 20204756, and I Major in ECON. I want to appeal the 2022 fall term course GPHY105, so a CR or DR will show on my transcript but the course GPHY105 will not affect my GPA. Since I have finished more than 60% of the class assignments, thus I prefer a CR to a DR.

The reason for my delay is that I didn't want to drop the class at first. However, during the reading week, I had a very serious influenza. Meanwhile, my core courses ECON310 and COMM221 was going to have midterm exams. Thus, I need to take care of my body and study for the exams at the same time. Therefore, could barely put any time into the course GPHY105. It's two weeks after the reading week after I recovered. As a result, I missed an assignment and got a very low mark on the test of the course GPHY105.

Therefore, last week I decided to drop the course GPHY105. I don't know the appeal policy until I send emails to my department.
