Petition Letter: Dear Sir/Madam:
I am writing to request to retroactively drop all of my 2021 fall courses.
When I returned during the autumn of 2021, I was told that I could not attend my courses due to the vaccination requirement. Due to the policy at the time, and to my own hesitancy, I was unable to attend any of my classes and was told that I would be automatically unregistered for my courses. I dont think I understood that correctly because I was still owing a balance, which I called in to learn came from my fall 2021 fees. I could not attend these courses. I do believe that I was mistreated during this time and not given enough options or enough time to consider my options. I had assumed that the school policy would soon change and that the requirement would not stand. I was wrong and stubborn at the time. I had already moved back into Kingston but I could not attend my courses because the policy did not change. I ask that you try to understand the struggles that I experienced and to consider allowing my dropping these courses, none of which I attended.
I do intend to return to my studies at Queen's University. If you require any supporting documents, let me know and I shall provide them.
