Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear Dean (Academic),

My name is Yingjie Gong, my student number is 20144264.

I am petitioning to facilitate a formal review of Instructors?? decisions on grading of CISC 251 final exam I and final exam II.
There are three reasons for my petition:

1. The CISC 251 final exam I and final exam II is Written Response type questions, no standard answer. So it is open and there is no right or wrong. So I don't think my score should be 5 out of 15 and 4 out of 20. Maybe my design concept is not the best, but it should not be such a low score.

2. I did well in this course, and my assignments and project design scores were above A.

3. I am currently applying for postgraduate courses. The scores of final exam I and final exam II of CISC251 have a great impact on my overall academic performance, which lowers my gpa. I don't want to be ruined my efforts for four years because of the unreasonable scores in final exam I and final exam II of cisc251.

If my application is approved, the final exam I and final exam II of cisc251 can increase some scores after formal review, which will be very helpful for me to apply for postgraduate courses and maintain excellent academic status.

Sincerely,
Yingjie Gong
