Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I have had a hard time learning within this course, it was not what I was expecting and not what I paid for. I am doing decent in the class as in I have an around a 75 and after the exam i do not know what I would have but I believe I could have done better if I had a different prof. I don't think it was fair as the course has been hard to navigate as the prof himself is unsure about everything. I have tried my hardest and I already have issues with my mental health and the stress of this course has been significantly impacting my performance. I don't believe it's fair that I receive this mark as it was out of my hand. I have been studying for the exam but the review and everything provided is hard to understand and it doesn't seem like my prof knows what he's teaching. The textbook only goes so far, and I am going to realms watching other profs' lectures on YouTube, this wasn't what I signed up for. I don't believe the mark I will receive in this class will reflect the effort and hurdles that I had to go over. I have accommodations for my mental health, and this has greatly affected my stress and affected my performance. I understand you have to have under a C to receive a CR standing but I don't believe that's fair in relation to this class as regardless of the mark I end with I believe it should not be counted as a credit that affects my GPA.
