New Information: On top of that, Father Raymond only started a few classes on time all semester, often arriving fifteen minutes late. Each class was almost over after everyone's presentation, and we rarely had time to react and think. Each class was conducted in a very hurried manner, which greatly affected the effectiveness of the learning. In addition, because each classroom at Queen's requires preparation about fifteen minutes in advance for the next class that will occupy the classroom, the average class duration is often only less than an hour, including the professor's late arrival time. I used to spend a lot of time preparing for class discussions, but I still did not have enough time to organize my words and express my thoughts completely in class. There were even scheduled presentations that were rescheduled for the next class due to the lack of time. The overall quality of the seminars was greatly compromised. Professor Raymond's requirements for participation were also never made public and there was absolutely no standard to follow. I just cannot understand how such a professor who holds such a teaching attitude can still be such a harsh judgment on the volume and quality of our presentations. In the rush of every class, no one's ideas were fully expressed. No one in the class knew what the standard of satisfactory but not superior quality was.
