Petition Letter: Dear Arts and Science
Hi there, I am Xueran Zhao and is writing a petition to add classes after the add deadline. On January 20th, I saw FILM 456 open up more available waitlist seats so I decided to drop my original course FILM 400, and placed myself first on the waitlist for FILM 456. Due to time constraints, I had to (give up) drop FILM 456 and re-add myself to FILM 400 in order to fulfill my degree plan and graduate on time. However, I attempted to re-add FILM 400 to SOLUS for over an hour and did not succeed due to technical issues (the page writes you are not allowed to add more than 6 classes). As soon as I wasn't able to re-add my FILM 400, I contacted the arts and science, undergraduate film, SOLUS, and course instructor for help. While I still have class on Tuesday, I also need to access ONQ to complete my homework.
I am here to ask for an appeal re-add FILM 400 to my schedule. I have already paid the tuition fees for all classes (six) before the deadline and need all units to graduate. Please consider my appeal and thank you for your help.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: Since this is the last semester of my study at Queens, I intend to complete all my classes and plans on time to graduate. After graduation, I am also planning to go to graduate school in 2023 Fall so I will be needing the extra three units of FILM 400 to fulfill my academic plan. I have consulted with an academic advisor for assistance and am asking for an appeal to help re-add the class to my schedule.
