Dear Ms. Satok:

I have carefully considered your appeal to receive an extension of your incomplete grades in HIST 221, RELS 201, RELS 340 and RELS 355 (F 2015). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I would like to note that while I am granting your appeal I remain concerned about the amount of work you have committed yourself to. You also have five incomplete courses from the winter term as well as 2 summer courses that you are currently enrolled in. Given your academic history of requesting IN grades, it appears that you are taking on greater course loads than you can handle. For the future, I urge you to reduce your course load so you can better balance your academics with your personal responsibilities and health condition. I will also strongly caution you to monitor your progress in your summer term courses and if you are having any difficulty keeping up with the workload, you must drop any courses as needed within the drop deadlines.

If you are not able to complete your fall term courses by this extended deadline, I would recommend that you schedule an appointment to speak with an academic advisor to discuss other appeal options.

You are permitted up to the September 15, 2016 to complete these courses and it is your responsibility to contact each of your instructors to make the appropriate arrangements.
