Dear Ms. Koskie:
I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to drop a 2013 Fall term course past the academic deadline.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered and amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Faculty Office for advice or assistance.
Sincerely,
Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
