Dear Mr. Jafar:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop PHYS 206, CISC 121 and CISC 102 (F 2015) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in MATH 221 (F 2015). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Your request to receive Aegrotat standing in PHYS 242 (F 2015) cannot be granted because you are not eligible for an AG grade in this course. To be eligible for Aegrotat standing, a student must have completed at least 60 of the work for the course (but not completed it), must have received a passing grade on the course based on the work submitted and must have met the learning outcomes for the course. According to your instructor, you have not completed 60 of the work required for this course and you have not currently met the learning outcomes for PHYS 242. However, given your circumstances, I would be willing to allow you to drop this course past the academic deadline instead. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision letter and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.
