Dear Ms. Brioux:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop GEOL 200, GEOL 232 (F 2015), CWRI 295, GPHY 304 and PHIL 203 (W 2016) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

In reviewing your file, we also have a note from Dr. Goebel confirming that you have completed 80 of the work required for ENSC 203 and you are eligible for an Aegrotat grade of C+ for that course. Aegrotat standing means that the student cannot finish a course due to extenuating circumstances but has completed enough work to be awarded a final, estimated grade instead, based out of the work completed. Therefore, your final grade would be calculated out of 80 instead of 100, which would change the final grade on your transcript in ENSC 203 to C+ along with the notation €œAegrotat: Estimated Grade€. Given your circumstances and the support of Dr. Goebel, I would be willing to allow this grade change. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision letter to confirm and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.
