As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal submitted to the Board of Studies and my decision to deny your request to have an appeal to drop 2014 and 2015 courses heard past the one term deadline. Based on your explanation that the failing grades from these time periods were the result of deferred exams that were not written at the time of your initial appeal, I have decided to change my original decision and waive the timeline.
You may now proceed with your planned appeal to drop courses from 2014 Winter, 2014 Fall and 2015 Winter terms. This appeal should clearly explain whether these exams were attempted and failed or whether they were not written. No additional documentation is required for this appeal.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should focus on the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
