I have reviewed your request to complete the Fall 2016 term of your B.A. (Honours) degree with a Medial plan in Global Development Studies and Psychology at Korea University in South Korea. As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, given the circumstances explained in your letter of appeal, and the support of the two departments, I agree to this retroactive request.
In order to transfer the credits for courses taken at Korea University, you must submit an application for a retroactive International Letter of Permission to the International Programs Office. You can obtain an application form at http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/student-forms Please include course descriptions with your application form as well as the application fee http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/student-forms (click on the €œpay now button€) You cannot transfer more than 15.0 units or you will need to apply for readmission to Queen€™s.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Office by 15 May to be considered for graduation at Spring Convocation, or by 15 October for Fall Convocation. Finally, please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
