Dear Ms. Roberts:
I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in CHEM 112, MATH 121 and PHYS 117 (FW 2016/17) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted, I have decided to grant your appeal. Your grade in these courses will appear on your transcript as CR.
I would like to note that I have exercised some leniency in this decision, acknowledging that your transition to university level coursework was difficult. For next year, I would recommend that you attend some Learning Strategies workshops early in the fall term to help assist you with exam preparation and writing. The Wellness Centre (Health Promotion) also offers information and workshops on dealing with exam anxiety. I hope you will find them helpful.
Sincerely,
Sue Blake
