I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline and grant your request to receive an extension of your incomplete grade in DEVS 501 (F 2013).
Your thesis supervisor, Dr. Carson, has submitted your final grade for this course which will appear on your transcript as A.
From the email communication you submitted as part of your appeal, it is clear that a deadline of September 2014 was agreed upon by your supervisor, Dr. Carson, the Department Head, Dr. Epprecht and the Undergraduate Chair, Dr. Day. You were not informed that there was an appeal process to request an extension to submit work beyond May 1 so for this reason I will waive the appeal fee. A refund in the amount of 50.00 will be credited back to you using the same payment method you used to submit your appeal.
