I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission. Based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, I have decided to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to waive the requirement to withdraw for one year.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the severity of your extenuating circumstances and how they directly impacted your academic performance over the past year. You must also include a detailed academic plan as well as any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal (if applicable). There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
