I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ASTR 101 (F 2016), ECON 110 and ENGL 100 (FW 2016/17) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in FILM 110 (FW 2016/17) and CLST 103 (W 2017). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

You did not include a request to drop PHIL 151 in your appeal but given your circumstances, I would be willing to allow a late drop of this class as well. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision to confirm and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.

Note that any change in academic registration (e.g. dropping courses) may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding such as OSAP, scholarships, or bursaries. Please consult with the Student Awards Office (Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall) to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
