Student Name: Sau-Ling Hum
Student Email: 3sh16@queensu.ca
Dear Ms. Hum:
As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal to USAB as well as my original decision to deny your request to have an appeal heard after the one-term deadline. Based on the information presented in your appeal to USAB, I have decided to change my original decision and waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to request a late drop of PHIL 348 from the 2016 Fall term.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning this particular course, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your one-term deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Faculty Office for advice or assistance.
Sincerely,
Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
