Associate Dean: Johanne Benard, Ph.D.
Student Name: Christopher Aben
Student Email: 16cjma@queensu.ca
Course: BIOL 102
Term: Fall
Year: 2017
Category: Drop a course after the academic deadline
Dear Christopher:
Your appeal requesting to drop BIOL 102 (Fall 2017) past the academic deadline has been granted on behalf of the Associate Dean (Studies). Please check SOLUS in a week€™s time to ensure this change has been made ok. Christopher, if you do indeed plan to drop your full year courses and withdraw from Queen€™s, please ensure you drop BIOL 103, CHIN 100B, DEVS 100B and ECON 110B on SOLUS by January 19th to receive a full winter term refund. Christopher you may also want to speak with the Registrar€™s office regarding receiving the winter term portion of the your student activity fees. You will also want to talk to the Residence office to notify them that you will not be returning and hopefully making arrangements for a refund from that office.
Note that any change in academic registration (e.g. dropping courses) may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding such as OSAP, scholarships, or bursaries. Please consult with the Student Awards Office (Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall) to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load. A change in academic registration may also affect a student€™s enrollment status as a full or part-time student, eligibility for student visas, or benefits through external agencies.
If you have any questions about withdrawing from Queen€™s, please feel free to contact our office at 613-533-2470 for assistance.
Best regards,
