I am writing to let you know that Dr. Gupta in the Student Wellness Services Centre submitted some additional documentation on your behalf to support your appeal of September 2017.
As per standard practice, I have carefully reviewed this documentation and reconsidered your request to have your appeal heard after the one-term timeline for submission. Based on the information supplied by Dr. Gupta, I have decided to change my original decision and I will now waive the timeline. You may proceed with your planned appeal to drop classes late from the 2017 Winter term.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your one-term deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
