Student Name: Rachel Samson
Student Email: 16rls2@queensu.ca
Dear Ms. Samson:
As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal before it is heard by the Board of Studies. Based on the explanation and documentation supplied in this appeal, I have reconsidered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-one-term timeline for submission, and have decided to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your plans to appeal courses from the 2016/17 academic year.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal (as applicable). There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your one term deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Faculty Office for advice or assistance.
Sincerely,
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
