Dear Ms. Ye:

I have carefully considered your appeal to receive Credit standing in BIOL 102 (F 2015), BIOL 103 (W 2016), BIOL 202 and CISC 101 (W 2017). After reviewing your file, I have decided the following:

1. Based on the documentation in your file and your letter provided to explain why you did not include this request with your prior appeal, I will grant your request to receive Credit standing in BIOL 102 and BIOL 103.
2. I must however, deny your request to receive Credit standing in BIOL 202 and CISC 101. There is no documentation in your file or with your current appeal to cover the timeline and severity of your extenuating circumstances over the Winter 2017 term. Your previous appeal to drop MATH 121 was granted because there was documentation supplied to cover the Fall 2016 timeframe and this was a full-year course. Without any sufficient documentation to confirm the timeline and severity of your circumstances as well as describe the specific impact that the circumstances had on your performance in these courses, I cannot justify altering your transcript after the grades have been posted.

If you wish to appeal the Associate Dean€™s decision to the Board of Studies, you must submit an appeal to the Board of Studies within 21 days of the date this decision was sent.
