Dear Ms. Turner-Lawrence:

I have carefully considered your appeal receive Credit standing in MATH 121, MATH 111 (F/W 2017-18) and CISC 102 (W 2018). After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grades in these courses will appear on your transcript as CR.

Going forward, please note that you will be expected to drop courses by the drop deadline dates. That means stopping to reflect on your progress during week 7 & 8 and dropping any courses in which you have fallen behind by the end of week 8 (the drop deadline). Appeals for late drops and credit standing are generally reserved for those who encounter problems after week 8 or whose problems are more acute.

Yours sincerely,

Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Studies)
