I have carefully considered your appeal to drop HIST 348 & HIST 468 (FW 2014-15); GPHY 351 & LLCU 101 (F 2015); GPHY 247 & LLCU 102 (W 2016); HIST 515 (FW 2015-16), and receive an extension of your incomplete grade in PHIL 493 (F 2014). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

You are permitted up to September 15, 2018 at the latest to complete the course requirements for PHIL 493 and it is your responsibility to contact Professor Smith to make the appropriate arrangements.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

Going forward, please note that you will be expected to drop courses by the drop deadline dates. That means stopping to reflect on your progress during week 7 & 8 and dropping any courses in which you have fallen behind by the end of week 8 (the drop deadline). Appeals for late drops are generally reserved for those who encounter problems after week 8 or whose problems are more acute.
