Dear Ms. Chapple:
I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the one term deadline for submission having now received additional documentation, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal. Please note however that you will need a solid academic plan which will include evidence of ongoing support to deal with your anxiety.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your one term deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
Sincerely,
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
