I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to drop courses by the deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure that students have 8 weeks to evaluate their progress and, if life circumstances are compromising their studies, to drop course without academic penalty. Going forward you will be expected to drop courses by week 8 should you experience extenuating circumstances.
