Based on the new documentation you supplied with this appeal, I have decided to change my original decision and grant your request for Credit Standing in BIOL 202 and CISC 101 (W 2017). Your grades in these courses will appear as CR on your transcript.

I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students allowing them to drop courses should health or personal issues affect their studies. The appeals process is designed to address problems that occur, or become more acute, after the week 8 deadline to drop courses.
